Before you ask about the local version

All our customers work in the UbiBot cloud. Temperature and humidity are not sensitive data, and typical use of the cloud is free.
The local version is another system to maintain. It needs a server, backups, updates and someone from IT to look after it. In the cloud the manufacturer does this.
The free plan of the local version gives a fraction of what the free cloud does: 10 devices and one account, with no alert rules, no data export and no mobile app. Alert rules come with the Basic licence ($699 a year), the mobile app with Standard ($1299 a year), and SMS and voice alerts only with Industrial ($4999 a year).
The local version usually starts to pay off with dozens or hundreds of devices, or when company rules exclude the cloud.
You can separate the devices from the company network without your own server: a separate WiFi router or an isolated network just for the loggers, or the SIM versions, which do not connect to the company network at all.

Who the local version is for

The local version makes sense when company rules do not allow data to leave your own network, there is no internet on site, or the readings must go into your own systems (MySQL database, API, PHP scripts).

You install the platform on a Windows, macOS or Linux server, on the local network or in a private cloud. UbiBot devices send their readings to your server instead of the manufacturer's cloud. Deployment, updates and support are done remotely.

Read the readings directly from the MySQL database or through the API, and extend the platform with PHP scripts.

From the Basic licence: alerts on the platform, by email and on the device. HTTP alerts from Professional, SMS and voice alerts with Industrial.

Device groups and permissions

You divide devices into groups and give users access to selected groups.

Automatic reports

From the Professional licence the platform creates and sends measurement reports by itself.

How to start

The free plan for 10 devices lets you test the local version before you buy a licence. If you plan a deployment for dozens of devices or more, write to us with the number of devices and why you need the local version, and we will choose the licence. For fewer devices we recommend the free UbiBot cloud.
